Derry Stone has been in business for quite some time. Our flagship quarry on Barkley Road, Blairsville, Phone: (724) 459-3971 is still producing and selling stone normally.
We, however, had to make a decision about the future of the quarry. Do we truck the stone from our SMT site to the flagship crushing plant or move the plant to the SMT site? The decision was made to build a state-of-the-art crushing plant at the SMT site while still running the Barkley Rd. site. The large investment in The SMT site is not only the environmentally correct thing to do, it also is an investment in our community and the ability to provide affordable stone for future infrastructure projects in the area.
For the next few years, you can get the dependable Limestone stone products and Agg Lime you have always purchased from Barkley Rd. and purchase the new products being made from the SMT Site.
We are proud to be able to support our community and continue to bring you terrific, crushed stone products. The SMT Site will allow us to do this for decades to come.
